Mace completes hat trick of Birmingham's Young Professional awards

28/05/2010

Project manager Paul Dalton has completed a treble win for Mace having been named Birmingham's Young Professional of the Year 2010 in the construction and property category. Paul follows in footsteps of his colleagues Chris Hill and Tony Gale who both picked up the sought after award in 2009 and 2007.

Paul won the award through his commitment to the regeneration of his home city with involvement in projects such as Millennium Point, the NEC Arena and, more recently, the Birmingham Gateway development project.

Birmingham's Young Professional of the Year, which was celebrating its 10th anniversary, has become an awards ceremony that recognises the future leaders of Birmingham, and all the past winners have gone on to become influential figures in the city.

Director of UK regions Rob Ewen said: "Paul's win demonstrates what anybody in Mace can do if they put in the hard work and dedication that he has. He started his career with Mace in the Midlands then transferred to Mace International for a successful period before returning to his home roots after gaining invaluable experience. Winning this award is a fantastic achievement."
