Mace project manager wins G4C award

03/12/2007

Mace project manager Catherine Tallis won the G4C collaboration award at G4C's New Generation Awards.

The collaboration award recognises individuals who have demonstrated an ability to work exceptionally well with other parties in their organisations or projects. Catherine's nomination was for the pivotal role she played in managing the effective collaboration between Hertfordshire County Council departments and partners on the flagship Integrated Asset Management System (IAMS).

IAMS is groundbreaking among local authorities and is designed to consolidate all asset management data in one place delivering time and cost savings to all parties involved in the process. Catherine invested considerable effort in understanding and managing the contractual, political, business and technical positions of over 18 stakeholder departments and organisations.

The awards were announced after a champagne reception at the Science Museum in London on 30th November.
