Information

In May 2003 Mace completed the shell and core, category A and B fit out of Tower Place, for Tishman Speyer and the Marsh McLellan Group.

This development was initially started by Marsh & McLennan but was subsequently offered to developers. Mace's assessment of the programme, budget and value engineering opportunities played a key role in Tishman Speyer Properties' successful acquisition of the development.

Norman Foster's design for this prime location adjacent to the Tower of London is based around two triangular seven storey buildings separated by an impressive seven storey glazed public court. A public coach park and car park are underneath the buildings, together with retail areas and a public house to service tourists to the Tower of London. The developer's works, to category A completion, total £95m.

The programme fully integrates the Developer's and the Tenant's works providing an overall construction duration of 25 months from commencement of piling to full occupation.

Features

• Fast track programme
• Close integration with Developer team and fit out
• Articulation / guidance to end customer in terms of space requirements
• Business critical IT infrastructure
• Category B Fit out of Tower Place, circa 350,000ft2 net lettable office space for Marsh & McLennan.
