Como has won two safety awards, the first from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSpa) and the second from the British Safety Council, to add to its growing number of safety accreditations.
RoSpa awarded Como the gold achievement award for its occupational health and safety performance. The main objective behind these awards is to help motivate health and safety performance improvement and to provide a series of exemplars of good practice for other organisations to learn from.
Como was awarded the International Safety Award by the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to improving corporate health and safety.
Como environmental, safety and health (ESH) manager, Brian Donnachie, said: "We are delighted to have won these prestigious awards for the second year running. It is a testament to the hard work the project team and ESH managers put in to ensure our sites are run safely and effectively."
