Information

In 2008 Mace Plus was appointed for the preconstruction stage to take on the design, cost planning and procurement roles for the delivery of new custody centres and patrol bases for the Metropolitan Police Authority.

This project is just one of several commissions Mace Plus is delivering within the strategic IESE framework.

The delivery (design & build) of this project involves the construction of a borough-based custody centre and patrol base.

This involves the conversion of a portal frame industrial warehouse into a modern centre for policing, including provision of cells, back of house facilities and meeting rooms.

Modern methods of construction (MMC) will be employed to deliver this 8,000 square metre development and the new patrol base will provide vital improvements to the service offered by London's police service.
