Peter Brumby, Managing Director of Mace Macro, the facilities management consultancy has written a full report on the inaugural EU FM Summit held in the Netherlands in January 2010.
In "FM sans frontieres", Peter rounds up the mood, vision and sheer range of topics covered at the convention, which brought together a truly international spread of delegates, united by a common interest in sharing experiences from their own corner of the world.
As Peter makes clear, the range of themes was equally as broad: from establishing a scientific basis for facilities management benefits, to the geography-shrinking power of technology in the workplace.
