Mace Macro has signed a minimum three-year agreement to continue its work with ITN, the worldwide news and multimedia content company.
Macro has worked with ITN since April 2008, and will now continue to provide facilities management (FM) services at the company’s 200 Grays Inn Road site having previously provided on-site consultancy since 2004. Services provided include: mechanical and electrical; cleaning; post/courier; FM 24-hour helpdesk; waste removal; pest control and internal horticulture.
Roger Kravitz, ITN’s property services manager, said: “From humble beginnings of just one small piece of consulting work back in October 2004, our relationship with Macro has grown to the provision of a service-focused FM service. We need to be certain that all the service providers having an input to the smooth running of live Television understand that there is no room for error.
“Macro imparts this philosophy with rigor to all the service providers under its care and this leaves ITN to concentrate on bringing top quality news to its viewers.”
The ITN site incorporates a number of live broadcasting studios, where staying on-air is mission critical.
