Following on a successful first year of operations in North America, Mace shared its distinctive approach to facilities management with attendees at 2010 World Workplace Conference and Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. The event took place just a few weeks after Mace was crowned “New Company of the Year 2010” at the Governor’s International Awards, which was featured in October’s edition of the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Mace’s presence at the event was supported by its key North American client, global investment company Invesco, which currently employs Mace Macro for facilities management service in sites across the US and Canada, Europe and the UK. Glen Wong, senior director of Invesco, welcomed more than 130 property and facilities professionals on the first night of the conference to a Mace-hosted cocktail party held at a local bistro.
Attendees to Mace’s stand at the conference and the cocktail party learned about Mace’s management and people-focused approach to FM, which is a departure from the typical portfolio-driven service in North America. Mace also presented its world-renowned programme and project management expertise, which serves multinational corporations like Exxon Mobil and NSN.
Mace introduced its facilities management thinking via some neat flash-cards. If you didn't pick up a pack at the event, watch an interactive version on our youtube channel:
